BioSolWaRe 2nd Steering Committee Meeting and technical visit
The last 17th November 2015, the 2nd Steering Committee Meeting of BioSolWaRe- Life Project and a technical visit to 1st Demo Site took place at CENTA facilities, Seville
The 2nd Steering Committee, celebrated on 17th November at CENTA facilities (Seville), Spain, has counted with the presence of NEEMO LIFE coordinator, Xavier Debade. The aim of the meeting has been to evaluate the technical and financial progress of the BioSolWare-Life Project. Among other topics, discussions have been focused on the 1st Demo facility report, the permits progress for 2nd Demo (to be installed in the near future), the first results of the hydraulics and separation trials based on the start-up strategy, the revision of standards for water reuse, the progress on Life Cycle Assessment, the Communication activities (already done and foreseen) and the planning of next steps.
During the meeting, a technical visit was carried out to the BioSolWaRe 1st Demo installed at CENTA, based on ecological treatment scheme, including closed biological and solar technologies allowing treated wastewater reuse and recycling, as well as the recovery of gases and organic wastes.
At the beginning of the meeting, partners of BioSolWaRe- Life Project joined CENTA staff in a minute’s silence in memory of the victims of the last attack on November 13th, 2015, in Paris.
